Finished Top

The top is done! I just finished the top for my Scrumptious fabric and I am so excited with it. It is so bright and cheery and happy! Those are my favorite descriptions for a quilt :). Here is the top:

Now the question is how to quilt it and what to put on the back?? I love the aqua colors in this line and might go that direction with the back. Quilting though? The idea that I had is kind of intimidating me so we will see how it goes.

Up next on the list is a whole slew of pillowcases for Girls Camp. Yours truly is camp director for our ward and we have 48 girls! Holy smokes! These pillowcases will be so cute and will be our gift to them as part of a devotional one night of camp. It is a good thing we are starting these in January because it will take until camp in June to sew that many together.
In between those, I am ready to tackle my stack of Valencia. There is some yardage in the closet in the coral print in this line that is begging to be used.

I stopped by the library this morning to get a new book on CD so it is going to be a quilting party tonight!

What I'm working on

Have you seen the new fabric by Bonnie and Camille that is Scrumptious? A jelly roll happened to show up in my Christmas stocking (YAY!) so that is the one I have been playing in lately. The squares are finally finished and I have started to put the sashing and such together. Here it is so far.

Phone pictures just make everything look so much worse than they really are. The colors in this line are so vibrant and happy. No wonder quilting is addicting. With such wonderful fabrics and colors and patterns to work with, it is understandable that we have to play in every chance possible.
